Shop2Share a is a fund-raising service provided and managed by The Experience Corps Limited. We are committed to maintaining the security and privacy of all users of the service. We strictly adhere to all the requirements of data protection legislation in the UK and are registered with the Data Protection authorities. The purpose of this Privacy Policy Statement is to show what information we collect about users of the Shop2Share service, what we do with the information, how we protect it and your rights in obtaining copies of your information that we hold. When you register to use the Shop2Share fundraising service we ask you for your title, full name, full postal address with post-code and your preferred e-mail address(es). We ask that you check the box that authorises us to contact you regularly by e-mail with information about your Shop2Share Buying Club. Your full registration allows us to provide you with access to the full Shop2Share service and track your use of the service so that we may subsequently forward to your Club on a regular basis the monetary funds that are raised for your Club by your online shopping through Shop2Share. You have the option to withhold any of this information, but doing so means we will be unable to provide the service to you and you will be unable to fund-raise for your Club. Shop2 Share personal registration is free of all charges from The Experience Corps Limited. The only registration charge you may incur is that levied by your Internet Service Provider in accessing your personal Internet service. We will use the e-mail address(es) provided to send fundraising and other useful information about the Shop2Share Buying Club for which you have registered and to which you belong, and to advise you of special promotional offers made by the reputable retailers that belong to the Shop2Share programme. We may also contact you periodically in order to check the accuracy of our database. We will contact you for these purposes only, and your agreement to this by checking the appropriate box on the registration form enables us to do so. We do not sell, rent or otherwise make available the information that you provide to us to any other party EXCEPT the organisation on whose behalf you are fundraising. We treat your information with the utmost care and respect. We follow strict security guidelines in storing your data and the disclosure of any information that you provide is strictly forbidden. We do not allow any unauthorised access to any of our stored data. We do not use our technology as an analysis tool for profiling online member use. You have the right to see the personal information registered about you upon request. If the information is inaccurate, incomplete or irrelevant, you have the right to request that the information be corrected or deleted. You should be aware that if we are requested by the police or any other regulatory or government authority investigating suspected illegal activities to provide your Personal Information and /or User Information we are entitled do so. We use cookies to track sales and leads. First, a registered Shop2Share Buying Club member clicks on a link at the Shop2Share web site. Then the member is linked via our secure system to the particular retailer’s web site. On that web site the member may fill in a form (particularly if it is the member’s first visit to that retailer’s web site) or buy something and this activity is registered with us without the member noticing. The vast majority of all Internet users have cookies enabled in their browsers (a tiny percentage may have their cookies disabled or blocked due to software they may be running). Cookie technology is a reality that will remain a part of consumer tracking for individual Internet businesses. In the unlikely event that a Shop2 Share Buying Club member has cookies disabled, the member is out of the range of our tracking and sales that occur cannot be tracked. However, more and more Shop2Share retailers are now set up to track even if cookies are blocked.
